Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Benefis Health System, one of Montana's largest tertiary care centers and an independent, financially stable health system, is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our established Heart & Vascular Institute in Great Falls, Montana. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a collaborative, physician-led program committed to providing advanced cardiothoracic care to a large regional referral area. Benefis serves more than one-quarter of Montana's land mass and offers comprehensive specialty support, advanced technology, and a strong commitment to quality outcomes.

Position Highlights

• Join a collaborative heart and vascular team with experienced cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, cardiologists, intensivists, and advanced practice providers.
• Full spectrum of adult cardiothoracic surgery, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, and thoracic procedures.
• Access to advanced imaging, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular programs.
• Dedicated cardiac operating rooms and hybrid procedural capabilities with support team of 2-3 surgical PAs and 1 non-surgical PA who take 1st call.
• Brand new heart and vascular clinic space with 20+ exam rooms in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment with dedicated leadership, nursing and support staff.
• State-of-the-art emergency trauma department with a dedicated air ambulance program, including fixed and rotor wing
• Opportunity to participate in program development, quality initiatives, and outreach activities.

• Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgery.
