Physician: Cardiology–Chicago, IL (Bronzeville)

Northwestern Medicine announces an inaugural once-in-a-generation opportunity to support a first expansion of care in the historic Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago. As of September, 2025, the Bronzeville Outpatient Care Center, a state-of-the-art 200,000 sq ft facility dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to a diverse patient population, is open, and from the outset thriving in the provision of expert and culturally competent patient care. We are seeking a General/Non-Invasive Cardiologist to not just join our growing team but to help establish a new benchmark of extraordinary care for a legacy population not previously able to access excellent Northwestern Medicine care in a proximate location. For the professional who is engaged with community affairs and identifies with a heterogeneous patient population, this is a career enhancing moment.

In this position, you will focus on outpatient general cardiology, working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside primary care providers and rotating subspecialists. The role is designed to be fully outpatient, with no inpatient responsibilities, though there is flexibility for those interested in incorporating inpatient work at the Academic Medical Campus. You will have access to onsite primary care, diagnostic services, echocardiography, and an infusion center, ensuring comprehensive care for your patients. Most importantly, you will have the latitude to evolve a vision you believe most suitable for community based cardiovascular care.
