Cardiology Opportunity in St. Louis, MO

You've built your training for moments when your clinical judgment matters, and this outpatient role is built to let you practice that way. Join a senior-focused, value-based model where you can lead, educate, and collaborate without the distractions of inpatient coverage or procedure-driven pressure. This opportunity is for a fellowship-trained General Cardiologist supporting multiple St. Louis markets.

Practice Overview

• 100% outpatient general cardiology, no inpatient, no interventional, no cath, no STEMI, no TEEs
• You'll work closely with PCPs, care managers, and health coaches in a coordinated care model
• Clinical leadership built in: prevention, cardiac wellness, CHF support, and coaching PCPs on management
• Required clinical scope includes reading stress tests and interpreting Holter monitors

Schedule

• Monday-Friday predictable clinic schedule
• No call and no weekends
• Balanced patient load: typically 15-20 patients/day with longer visit times than traditional models
• Multi-room clinic setup with dedicated exam room availability per provider

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $450,000 for practicing physicians (fellows: $425,000)
• Up to 10% annual quality bonus (value-based; no RVUs or production metrics)
• Signing bonus and relocation assistance available; malpractice coverage provided (tail provisions apply)
• Benefits include 401(k) with up to 6% match, 33 days PTO + holidays, and CME: $3,500 + 5 days

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Fellowship-trained General Cardiologist (outpatient-focused)
• Comfortable serving as a clinical leader/educator and collaborating across care teams
• Willingness to work across multiple centers within the region; experience preferred
