Locums Cardiology Nurse Practitioner in Longview, Texas - Night Shifts, Block Scheduling

This inpatient cardiology role is centered on overnight coverage with APPs managing acute cardiac needs and serving as first call. The structure is built around consistent night blocks each week.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient cardiology unit with general and interventional cases
• Manage 20 to 50 patients on the unit during shifts
• Perform point-of-care ultrasound and handle overnight consults
• Triage, rounding, and coordination with cardiology team

Schedule

• 7pm to 7am night shifts
• 3 to 4 shifts per week
• Block scheduling available for grouped shifts
• Full-time coverage preferred

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Acute Care certification required for Nurse Practitioners
• Active Texas license required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
