Founded in 2011, North Atlanta Cardiology (NAC) is a privately owned and operated cardiovascular practice serving North Atlanta communities. With established offices in Cumming and Johns Creek — and new locations in Dawsonville and Buford — NAC is in an exciting growth phase, expanding its footprint across North Atlanta to meet the cardiovascular needs of one of the fastest-growing regions in the Southeast.
NAC is IAC-accredited in both Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography, setting up advanced PET/CT cardiac imaging, and holds privileges at Northside Forsyth Hospital, Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Piedmont Eastside Hospital. POSITION DETAILS:
- Invasive (Non-Interventional) Cardiologist (full-time, permanent)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Outpatient cardiology across NAC's North Atlanta locations; hospital rounding and procedures at affiliated hospitals
- Call coverage shared equitably among physician partners
- Experienced clinical team, dedicated schedulers, and open to PA/NP support
COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
NAC offers a compensation package designed to meet the Atlanta metro market and reward productivity — with the added long-term financial upside of practice ownership that employed positions cannot match.

Benchmark reference: Atlanta metro median for non-invasive cardiologists is approximately $435,000 (Salary.com / Medscape 2024 / MGMA 2024). NAC's offer is structured to meet or exceed market, with significant upside through production bonuses and partnership distributions.
PARTNERSHIP TRACK — WHAT TRUE OWNERSHIP LOOKS LIKE:
- Years 1–2: Associate physician with full salary, benefits, and mentorship from existing physician
- Year 2–3: Buy-in negotiated transparently; terms discussed upfront before hire
- Post-partnership: Profit sharing, governance rights, and equity in a growing multi-location practice
- Growth plan: NAC is hiring one cardiologist now and one additional per year for the next two years — as the practice expands to Dawsonville and Buford, you will help shape the team and the direction
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM or equivalent)
- Georgia medical license (or eligible to obtain)
- Clean malpractice history
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care consistent with the NAC mission
