Job DescriptionMat-Su Regional Medical Center, in partnership with Capstone Medical, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to join a well-established and growing practice in beautiful Palmer, Alaska. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive, collaborative environment while enjoying an exceptional quality of life.
Position Highlights:
- Employed position with an established and respected medical group serving the Mat-Su Valley
- Full-time opportunity with a strong referral network
- Broad scope of endocrinology including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic disorders
- Collaborative care model with experienced primary care providers and specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of endocrine disorders
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Educate patients on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology & Metabolism
