Non-Tenure-Eligible Cardiology Clinician-Educator
The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor through Professor. Responsibilities may include supporting imaging services and attending on the inpatient cardiology service and the ambulatory clinic.
Qualified candidates must have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine, have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program, hold board-certification in cardiology, and preferably have a strong and/or developing record of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding support.
In addition to the skills as noted, the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship and training as appropriate to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees and/or graduate students. Salary is commensurate with experience. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
The expected base pay range for this position is $300,000-450,000.
Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
