About the Opportunity
CanAm Physician Recruiting is partnering with established ambulatory cardiology and diagnostic clinics across Canada to recruit Non-Invasive and General Cardiologists.
These are clinic-based roles focused on consultative and diagnostic cardiology within well-supported, multidisciplinary outpatient environments.

Minimal administrative burden: 99.9% of billings reimbursed without insurance pre-approvals or denials
Autonomy in clinical practice: shape your scope of practice and make patient-centered care decisions
Practice medicine based on patient needs: clinical decisions guided by what’s best for the patient
Lower overhead and malpractice costs: significantly reduced, with partial government reimbursement
Favorable taxation: corporate tax rates range from 9–12.2%
Scope of Practice May Include
Comprehensive cardiac consultations and follow-up care
Echocardiography & Stress Echo supervision and interpretation
Holter and event monitor interpretation
Treadmill stress testing
Nuclear cardiology (where available)
Preventative cardiology and risk factor management
Development and oversight of individualized treatment plans
Specific responsibilities vary by clinic and province.
Compensation & Practice Models
Fee-for-service
Income potential frequently ranging $800,000 – $1,000,000+ CAD annually, depending on volume and structure
Established patient volumes
No on-call in most clinic-based models
No inpatient duties
Incentives and Benefits offered in many locations; Relocation assistance , immigration support, signing bonus
Licensing & Eligibility
Physicians must be eligible for licensure with the applicable provincial College of Physicians and Surgeons.
American Board Certified Cardiologists are eligible for independent licenses across Canada. (American Board Eligible may be considered)
Physicians with training and certification from Royal College of Canada jurisdictions eligible for Independent license
Physicians eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification
Internationally trained cardiologists eligible for independent or supervised licensure pathways
