Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Join an established cardiology team serving a busy community hospital just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of inpatient, outpatient, and imaging responsibilities with strong subspecialty support. Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced physician, you'll step into an established referral base with immediate volume and long-term stability.

Practice Overview

• You'll join a unified cardiology team of 4 Interventionalists, 7 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, 1 EP (with another being recruited), and 3 Cardiac Surgeons
• Structured block model: 1 week inpatient, 2 weeks clinic/non-invasive, 1 week imaging
• Inpatient census of 30-40 patients per service (shared with a physician and APP); outpatient volumes of 20-25 patients per day
• Advanced diagnostic capabilities including CT, MRI, Nuclear, and PET; opportunity to perform TEE and cardiac MRI

Schedule

• Predictable block schedule allowing focused inpatient and outpatient time
• 1:5 general call rotation for rounding; 1 night per week telephone call
• Inpatient rounding averages 4-5 hours per day
• APP and MA support to streamline inpatient and clinic workflow

Compensation & Benefits

• $450,000-$500,000 guaranteed base salary for 1-2 years
• $48/RVU production model; top earners producing 13-14k RVUs earning ~$650,000
• $35,000-$40,000 sign-on bonus plus $20,000 quality bonus potential
• Occurrence-based malpractice (no tail), 4 weeks PTO, 1 week CME, 403(b) retirement plan, and PSLF-eligible facility

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Open to fellows, new graduates, and experienced physicians
• Comfort with general non-invasive cardiology and cardiac imaging
• CAP-exempt H1-B sponsorship available (no J-1 waiver)
