Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity
Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals, a Children’s Hospital, and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.
Baystate Regional Cardiology, a premier multidisciplinary group, is seeking a dedicated and skilled noninvasive cardiologist to join our team. We provide comprehensive care in interventional cardiology, structural heart management and intervention, advanced heart failure, advanced imaging, cardio-oncology, and a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic services, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
Position Highlights:
- Clinical Expertise: Responsibilities include interpreting echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and stress nuclear tests, as well as performing and interpreting transesophageal echocardiograms. An interest in preventive cardiology and structural transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) would be of great value.
- Academic Engagement: Opportunity to obtain an academic appointment at UMass-Chan Medical School, participate in teaching rounds, and work closely with medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications: ABMS BC/BE cardiology. Expertise in noninvasive cardiology, including advanced imaging techniques. A commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and teamwork. Interest in preventive care or TEE structural imaging would be of value.
Compensation: The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees. Minimum= $380,000. Target= $540,000. Maximum= $595,000.
