Abrazo Medical Group, part of Tenet Health, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist for a non-ACGME Structural Heart Immersion Fellowship Track at Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.

This unique, employed position offers advanced procedural exposure in a high-volume, academically active environment. You will work directly with Dr. Timothy Byrne, Market Medical Director of Cardiac Services, and Dr. Akil Loli, Designated Institutional Officer and fellowship faculty. Together, they lead a robust program performing nearly 900 structural heart cases annually.

Clinical Experience Includes:

• TAVR
• Mitral valve interventions (TEER/MitraClip)
• ASD/PFO closures
• TMVR and tricuspid procedures
• VSD closures
• LAAO / Watchman

Role Highlights:

• Scrub into all structural heart procedures
• Participate in biweekly structural/TAVR case conferences
• Pre- and post-procedure patient care
• Contribute to ongoing research with at least one publication submission expected
• Teach cardiology residents as part of an academic team
• One weekend per month of interventional call
• All work based at Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital (no clinic)

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Minimum 2 years post-cardiology fellowship with independent cath lab experience
• Arizona medical license or eligibility
• Interest in advanced structural heart procedures and academic collaboration
