Riverside Health is seeking an accomplished Cardiovascular Service Line Chief to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, and Cardiothoracic Surgery. This physician leader will drive clinical excellence, quality outcomes, and program growth while fostering strong multidisciplinary collaboration across the cardiovascular enterprise.
As Service Line Chief, you will lead a dynamic team while continuing to practice cardiology day to day—shaping strategy, mentoring colleagues, and driving clinical excellence, all while remaining closely connected to patient care. The role is based at Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC), coastal Virginia’s premier tertiary referral center and the region’s only Level II Trauma Center, serving a high-acuity and diverse patient population. All cardiovascular specialties are housed within RRMC’s state-of-the-art Pavilion, featuring advanced operating rooms and comprehensive cardiovascular infrastructure.

Requirements
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- MD or DO; Board Certified in Cardiology
- 8–10+ years of progressive clinical and leadership experience
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multidisciplinary cardiovascular programs
- Strong operational, financial, quality, and strategic leadership capabilities
- Experience recruiting and developing high-performing clinical teams
- Collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills
- MBA or MHA preferred but not required
