Description

Full time BC/BE cardiologist needed for a busy cardiology practice, to join 2 other interventional cardiologists and 4 nurse practitioners. California medical license and fluoroscopy license is a must. Shared call coverage once a week that averages 4 days a month (shared with other cardiology group in town).  Excellent compensation package of $ 650 K/year to start and bonus depending on productivity, and all standard benefits, including paid licensures and 401K plan/ malpractice coverage. 

Practice is located in southwest part of town and has good referral base with family physicians in town.  Practice is rapid paced and busy but foremost goal is to have easy work hours and have good work-life balance, and hoping to get done at work by 5 pm.

Bakersfield, CA is a mid sized town, located 2 hours north of Los Angeles, in a county of 900K people.  Town provides easily affordable housing and plenty of good restaurants to eat out.  Winters are mild and there is no snow on the ground, but summers do get hot for 3 months.  Bakersfield airport provided direct connections to LAX, SFO, Denver, Phoenix, Houston, and LAX is about 2 hrs away

Board eligible/ board certified cardiologist, interventional or invasive; Full time position, monday-friday 8 am - 5pm and shared weekday/weekend call
