A well-established, 24-physician private practice cardiovascular group in Colorado Springs is adding an electrophysiologist to a team that already has four EP physicians, four interventionalists, and the infrastructure to support serious procedural volume. The partnership track has no buy-in, the call structure is manageable, and Colorado Springs is the kind of address that tends to end the job search permanently.
Practice Details
- 24-physician group spanning General Cardiology, Interventional, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Surgery with 14 APPs and dedicated MA and RN support
- Procedures include devices and ablations across three clinics and two hospitals with dedicated EP labs and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities
- Lead extractions not required
- Private practice model with a clear focus on growth and long-term stability
Schedule
- Five-day workweek with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Day-long single-location assignments to minimize travel
- General Cardiology call runs 2 weekdays per month and 1 weekend every other month with APP support
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $550,000+ with production incentives and a $50,000 sign-on bonus
- Partnership track at two years with no buy-in, transitioning to a production model
- 20 days PTO, 5 CME days, $5,000 CME allowance, and 401(k) with immediate vesting
- Relocation reimbursement up to $15,000 with comprehensive health benefits included
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology
- Open to experienced physicians and 2026 fellows
- American Medical Graduates preferred; strong IMGs considered
- Interest in practice growth over lead extraction volume
