Description
The full-time annual base salary range for this position is $655,000-$813,723; commensurate with experience and rank. Base pay does not include incentive pay, hiring bonuses, or additional benefits such as retirement contributions.
The Knight Cardiovascular Institute (KCVI) at Oregon Health & Science University is seeking applications for a cardiac electrophysiologist to join the growing team in the Knight Cardiovascular Institute (KCVI), located in the heart of Portland, Oregon. We are seeking candidates who are board certified or board eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology with previous experience working in an academic medical center teaching medical students, residents and/or fellows.
Position Highlights:
- Clinical Care: The EP faculty are the go-to EP providers for the state of Oregon, and provide the full range of EP procedures, consults, and supervising EP and general cardiology fellows, as well as managing device clinic and reading ECGs and ambulatory monitors. We are especially interested in candidates with a strong interest in invasive management of ventricular arrhythmias. This is a pure EP position with no general cardiology duties.
- Academic Environment: Contribute to OHSU’s mission through teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to advance the field of cardiology through education and innovation. With appropriate interest and experience, the position of Electrophysiology Fellowship Program Director would be available to the successful candidate.
- Research: All EP faculty have active research programs and are supported by robust clinical trials staff, for both investigator initiated studies as well as industry sponsored multicenter clinical trials.

Required Qualifications
- MD/DO required
- Unrestricted Oregon medical license and/or ability to obtain
- Board eligible or Board Certified in Electrophysiology
Preferred Qualifications
- Individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences are highly encouraged to apply
- Special interest in invasive management of ventricular arrhythmias
